Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine Discolored?

So I had two bottles of ONR that I couldn't find. It's been a year. I finally found them but the products look funny now and are no longer blue when I first got them. Take a look at the pictures.

Just wondering if its normal because I'd like to use em up. Should I just be buying new ones? Let me know what you guys think.

Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine Discolored?

I really wanna wash my car right now. I'd like to use it but I don't want to end up washing with something that won't work. Well if anyone knows for sure let me know. Otherwise looks like I may be using it soon.

Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine Discolored?

It's the old dye breaking down from exposure. The performance of the product should be unaffected. The newer stuff has a much brighter dye that doesn't seem to break down.

It's fine. Mine turned that color also, but didn't effect the performance at all.

Works just fine. In fact, I bought some gallons of the old version (that turns grey) from my Optimum distributor because he was giving a discount on them.

Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine Discolored?

When I dilute mine with distilled water to make a QD, it definately gets less blue over time until its almost like water. Doesn't seem to have affected performance though.

Re: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine Discolored?

Thanks all I went ahead and used it. I'm glad I don't have to get new batches of it.
