Talking Update On the LC CCS Pads

[The buzz at NACE
(SEMA
AAPEX
NACE
2006)
- CCS Polishing Pads
Everyone was talking about polishing and finishing the new, super-hard clear coats. A Mercedes-Benz spokesperson told us the switch to the new, nano, ceramic clear coats that started in 2005 is now complete. All Mercedes now come with a scratch-resistant clear coat finish.

At left, Scott McLain, Director of Sales and New Product Development, Lake Country Manufacturing, unveiled the latest in foam technology - Closed Cell Structure Polishing Pads

Scott McLain from Lake Country Mfg. shows off their new CCS Pads.

What is CCS Technology?

The newer, harder, scratch-resistant clear coats require longer polishing times to remove swirls, spots and defects. The longer you polish with conventional foam pads, the less effective they become because polish migrates below the working surface of the pad. The pad "dries out."

CCS Technology solves this problem using strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells. These cells slow the rate of polish absorption, gradually releasing polish as needed by the operator. CCS Pockets reduce surface tension, prevent pad skipping and allow the operator to run the pad flat on the working surface.

We will have these new CCS Technology pads shortly!
These pads were introduced in Europe last month at Automekanika and are already in use at selected German auto plants.

Classic Motoring Accessories is very proud to have been selected to introduce this new pad technology to the U.S. enthusiast market. These CCS Pads are going to be hottest, best performing pads in the industry!

As long as we are on the topic of these pads, what's the lowdown on Menzerma P0106FF polish, and is it available or am I just out of touch with what's going on. Thanks

they look nice and all but i still don't like lake country. I've just had to much bad luck with their pads to ever go back. But if i need to and the time comes i might have to pick some of these up as vette and mb clears are starting to get very hard.

No problem with 106FF availability in Europe and the new 106FA is almost on the market

They are now exclusively available (until the beg of Jan as far as I can gather) at CMA.

Wow, looks like a nice copy of Edge's waffle pads. The sincerest form of flatery.
