Chemical Guys selling Eurow waffle Weave?

Awhile back I bought Chemical Guys 3 pack of 18x30 blue waffle weaves for $24.95. Just last week I bought a 3 pack of 16x28 of waffle weaves from Eurow for $7.47. You even have your choice between 4 colors. One of which is blue that looks eerily similiar. Even though they are listed as different sizes, back to back they are the same exact size. When I cut the labels off they were even located in the same location that the blue towels used to have labels at (removed by Chemical Guys). I also bought the 26x36 waffle weave with four pockets from Eurow for $8.98. While I don't have the 26x35 one from Chemical guys to compare they look pretty similiar and both have four pockets. The one from Chemical Guys is over double the cost. I know this may not be news to some, but just wanted to give a heads up to some that may be in the market for some waffle weaves. I'm sure you can find something else to spend the money on.

See for yourself

Chemical Guys 18x30 waffle weave

Eurow 16x28 waffle weave

Chemical Guys 26x35 waffle weave w/4 pockets

Eurow 26x36 waffle weave w/4 pockets

nice find! Don't know oif they're equivalent but I browsed through the rest of their product lineup and it looks like several of their items are exactly the same as what's sold in the boutique's but *way* cheaper.

Thanks for the tip!

I read somewhere those euro towels are way to stiff for auto use, and I can't say I like their plush ones either. Euro quality just isn't there, if CG's towels are those then they should be ashamed of themselves but I have a feeling they are not the same.

I have the large light blue WW from CG's and find no complaint with them at all. I do like the price of them a lot though.

In addition, the two yellow WW's that you compare do have different color stitching for whatever that's worth. I haven't put either of them in my hands and don't care for towels with pockets so.....

Even though the one in the photo has red stitching, the one I received from Eurow has black like the one from Chemical Guys.

Well like I said, I'm not exactly sure on the 25x36 because I don't have them side by side. But on the 18x30 the tag was originally in the same place they are the same size, color and texture. So I have a pretty good feeling they are the same towel. I can say the Eurow waffle weaves are no stiffer than other waffle weaves I have.

9 out of 10 items in your home are "rebadged, rebottled, licensed, etc. Its a sad world when you think about the total lack of creativity and manufacturing in the USA. Everyone is looking for the quick buck with as little work as possible. I have seen that the people on the detailing forums feel slighted or cheated by the repackagers and rebottlers. I think the licensing bug needs to be further developed in the detailing community. You never hear someone complain about the LG LCD in their Sony branded television.
