Few pics of my car & a quick question

this is very self indulgent of me, but cleaned and waxed saturday morning (just in time for rain!) and car was looking good this afternoon, so I thought I'd post up a few pics. This is the result of all the great help and advice you guys have offered me, so thank you all so so much!!!

If you like the finish, I have a base of Poorboys Polish with carnuba x 2, Poorboys EX paint sealant x3, and I use Collinite Insulator wax that I top up once every few months (yes, it lasts that long, and I still a just waxed deep wet look from a quick clean and get decent beading ater after 3 months without waxing). All done by hand with the help of one of those Polishing Pal thingies. Colour is Audi Avus silver pearl effect.

It's been 12 months since I did the paint seal so maybe it's time start over. I've got some UPP paint seal I'm dying to try, but also got some Jeff's Prime and Wersatt that is crying out to be tried. Decisions, decisions. Roll on summer!

The question is, given that I want a deep deep, glossy/wet finish but still with as much metallic flake 'pop' as possible, what would be a good polish to start with if i use the UPP? (apart from the 4star one of course!). Have I got this wrong, but is there a 'glaze' I could use that cleans too like a polish? What is meant by a glaze?

Looks nice, try Werkstatt Prime and AJ. That will make the car look great in my opinion.

I'd polish it out with Optimum or Menzerna products then finish with the Werkstatt twins.

Hi Cam

I've just bought some 1Z [einszett] Paint Polish and Glanz wax to use on my phantom black TTC.

Glanz wax comes highly recommended for use on metallics for maximum 'pop'.

I'll be trying it out in the next week or so.

Bought it from www.cleanandshiny.co.uk, speedy service and a good price too.
