other quick detailer compatible with zaino?

the zaino Z6 and Z8 are expensive compared to what i can pick up from kragen or autozone like $5-6 for the meguire quick detailer. can somebody tell me if i can use the meg or mother's QD w/o harming the zaino finish? i want to save the z6 for application of the z polishes and use the cheaper alternatives for quick detailing purposes. what other cheaper alternatives are there that i can use with zanio

thanks

Any QD that does not contain any form of alcohol. Alcohol is present in many OTC QD's for the purpose of cleaning during application.
One can use any non-alcohol containing QD, including ones with carnuaba or synthetic wax, after the application and curing of the applied Zaino sealant(s). One must just wash with a strong shampoo (i.e. best choice Z7) prior to applying subsequent layers of Zaino sealants to remove any short-lived QD residual.

I have no clue, sorry. Haven't bother venturing to any local vendors (OTC) in quite a while since converting to a sealant (Zaino).

You could check out the Meguiar's, Mother's and other locally available brand websites and write them a question about ingredients in their QD's.

I believe DuraGloss sells a sealant-safe QD. Check out your local GM dealer.

Your best bet would be to check out some of the vendors and products used on this site and bite the bullet and order some. Let someone else (UPS,USPS or FedEx) foot the gas and time and deliver to your front door. This greatly offsets the shipping/handling cost IMHO.

Neither Meguiar's Quik Detailer (A33) nor Meguiar's Final Inspection (M34) contain alcohol.

I would say Megs Final Inspection or Eagle One Wipe n Shine. I would also look into Poorboys Spray and Wipe. Although not a real qd ,Spray and Wipe does a great job keeping the dirt off a Zaino finish.
