My gf'd red car had 4 coats of Z2+Z6 and the car has some *really* nice pop to it, so i decided i would add even more showroom efect with a light coat of S100........yuck:eek: :shocked .....what it did is that it took almost all of the Z reflection, and destroyed the look of it......her car now is dull looking.....si i'll know what to do now ;)

But on my black car zaino'ed car, S100 did help make it more wet looking and added reflection, so it really depend on the color of one's car IMHO, yet since it is a wax, i have wax build-ups in some cracks, which i hate to remove.

I have to say my expectations were really too high to start with, but on black S100 does a good job, but i think i like the Z look better, but that's me.............there's no accounting for taste ;)

Chip, where do you get your Zaino, I'm looking to get it and apply it before the winter, how is their sealant(polymer):wavey

:)

explorer, on my girlfriend's car, which is red, it did a heck of a nice job. It enhance paint color, kinda gives it this *pop*.....one thing i like most is it doesnt streak or smear, and doesnt stain moldings and such like S100 did(although S100 is easy to clean up). On my metallic black ride, it did a good job, but not as good as on my gf's ...........i phoned Sal Zaino down in california and he told me(as i expected) that solid black gets much more shine than metallic paints. So i topped mine with S100 which i have to say gives it more depth, i just wonder if there could be anything that would make it look lot better. Maybe i have too high of expectations after all.

To make a long story short, i was told i wouldnt be disapointed buying Zaino, and i can say i'm not at all.....i like the product......money well spent. Now i got to one more thing to see to make it a keeper-----> it has to bead water in the spring(i'm near quebec city so we got real harsh winters round here).

Best of luck to you Bud:wavey

You can get Zaino here as well...he is another distributor in Toronto, and he is very efficient.

http://www.carpolish.ca/

You can also get it at www.dasilvaracing.com in Toronto...that is Joe DaSilva's Mustang Performance shop, and he stocks it as well.

As for reflectivity, here is a shot of our hotel in Ohio when I was down to the Modular Shootout...

Chip-if you have wax build-up in the cracks, you used way too much S100. Apply it real thin like Zaino and you shouldn't have that problem in the future.

Scottwax, upon pondering, i'd say you're damn right, i did use too much...way too much....i thought the depth would be better, but i was wrong in the end.........thanks for pointing out Bud........next time i'll be wiser

;) :D

take care :wavey

Scottwax, come to think of it, the other day me and gf were browsing your web site, and humm well.....some funny sh*t there ...cool site.

Are you talking about my photohost gallery? You must be because there are just cars on my regular website. I've got some more funny stuff at http://scottwax.com/rice.htm -definitely some non-PC humor (mods-not my business site!). :xyxthumbs Mostly thread stoppers that I can't use here :(

Scottwax, yupper that's the one i was talking about......i enjoyed some very nice pics there.......well....some nice and some funny(i don't have to point them out, as they're kinda obvious lol):D

I'll now go and have a look at the one link you posted above.
