$7.99
$.33/ounce Manufacturer Claims: NXT Generation™ Speed Detailer is the fastest way to maintain your “just waxed” look with ESP technology. Our advanced formula now makes it even easier to remove those fresh contaminants and quickly and easily lift away dirt and grime without scratching to restore show car shine in just minutes. Packaging:
Comes in a well put together ergonomically correct bottle with a great fine mist sprayer. Color/Scent/Viscosity:
A clearish watery liquid with the signature, lime, NXT scent. How I used (as per instructions):
Sprayed 2-4 spritz' per panel, wiped with a MF towel, flipped and wiped clean. Overall Thoughts:
I have used this "Quick Detailer" on carnuaba, sealant, and NXT sealed surfaces. I used in on freshly washed surfaces and lightly soiled surfaces. This product proves to have excellent lubricity preventing potential marring. It was very easy to use and showed no streaking. The product certainly enhanced that "NXT" look (slightly darkens and wettens) and helped slickness. Other Notes:
Use weekly to keep up your freshly detailed vehicle! Purchasing: www.meguiars.com Pictures: 2004 Audi S4 detailed with NXT Liquid Wax 3 weeks ago and NXT Speed Detailer just before photographed
I am a member of the Meguiar's Product Testing Team, but this review was purely objective in many ways and the feelings are true.

IMO, NXT speed detailer is a very disappointing product. I've used it on my Acura TSX (which has AIO + SG + UPP). It did not clean well, enhance slickness, or add anything to the shine.
I'm going to reserve my bottle for use as a clay lube, and recommend that others give it a pass altogether.

On top of the sealants that I use regularly (UPP, EX, EX-P, EX-P+, WG) and waxes (Natty's, P21s), I have not found it to be that slick and I didn't like the shine. Not that it was bad... just well below several of the QD's that I regularly use (QS, S&G, 4*UGE.)
It *does* darken the paint but again, this is not necessarily a good thing in my book. Good for reds and blues, not so great (IMO) for light metallics.
And at $8/24oz, it's not even that economical considering QS is $34 or less for gallon sizes and it's a much better performing QD. Then again, NXT SD may come in more economical gallon sizes but if it does, I haven't seen it.
That not withstanding, great review Sean!

Personally, I see this product as a total bust.
Just my opinion though.
And, you are right. The initial post was a thoughtful high-quality review.

Once you FINALLY get it all wiped off the paint, it does leave the finish looking pretty nice (certainly a little more reflective and shiny). It's a bear to work with, IMO.

Works great on all sealants and waxes.

I agree that slickness increase is minimal, but I definately saw it darken/wetten on each surface used on.
