Ueah, but IMO your Cyclo experience will translate a lot better to the rotary that PC experience would. From now on, when you use the Cyclo pretend it's a rotary- e.g., keep it moving instead of "pausing" at the end of your motions.
I hadn't used a rotary in over 20 years, but I always used the Cyclo as if it were one. When I did go back to the rotary, it was pretty easy to get back into the swing of it ( not that I'm an expert) and I credit my Cyclo practice.

Heh heh, somehow I'm just not getting the hang of using these with a rotary for "normal" work, though the weird shape does lend itself to weird applications (using the back side, edges, etc. in a way you'd never try with a regular pad). I guess it's just a matter of familiarity, but I always feel more comfortable/confident using the rotary with "regular" shaped pads
