For those of you that use some Meguiars Professional line, which products do you use. I was browsing through their professional section on their website and had a hard time deciding which products to use. I would be mostly applying everything by hand, but if necessary I can use a buffer. Thanks

I have DACP (83), SMR (9), Show Car Glaze (7) which is crap by the way, Fine Cut cleaner (I think it is number 3), and SFP (82).

"Crap"? To each his own, but *I* sure don't think #7 is crap..works GREAT (for me) on single-stage, especially lacquer. Literally "conditions" the paint, not an issue with basecoat/clear, but a BIG plus with lacquers. If you don't like the #7's application/removal characteristics, you might try the #3 Machine Glaze, #5 New Car Glaze, or the #81 hand polish. All sorta similar, but less finicky to use (and the #81 is meant for b/c paint).

Besides the other products that've been mentioned, I REALLY like the #16 paste wax. Like P21S but with better durability.

I've had good luck with #7 as well, I'm also wondering why you don't like it...you've got the yellow '03 with silver Saleen's right? I think you're over at SVTperformance...

And yes #16 is great!!

Yep thats me lol! The reason I dont like #7 is it seems to be good for about a week or two, then the shine goes away quickly. Plus even applied with very thin coats seems to be a huge hassle to remove. My arms get very tired after using number 7. I have moved onto Vanilla Moose which is a 100% improvement. I still have my #7 on the shelf for a rainy day, but it stays out of my mobile detailing containers. I think #7 is good for exactly what it says, "show cars". I would probably use it on a car that I needed to be shiny for a weekend during a car show or some other event. Other than that, it seems impractical for a daily driver that gets washed 1-2 times a week.

Sorry to sound nasty, but you obviously did little/no research before using or even buying #7. There are a hundred good threads in the site with tips for #7 application and removal.
As for it's durability, Meg's would be the first to tell you it has poor durability; it's NOT A WAX.(or a synth. polish either, for that matter) It is indeed made for show cars who only need to shine for a weekend, but can be used as part of a multi-step process after the prep. stages, before the final coat.
I use Zaino as my protective base, then #7 for extra shine, and finally #26 for depth.
Do a search for the #7 threads, and you'll be very, very happy with #7 when used as it was intended.
