| hehateme - Welcome to Autopia. *I* wouldn't worry about it, just make sure the painter knows about it so he can take appropriate action. No matter WHAT was used on the paint, proper prep work, including the use of a PrepSol-type product to clean the surface, should take care of it. I've had a LOT of paintwork done over the years and whatever product I'd been using wasn't an issue unless the painter messed up.
I just had work done on my Volvo on an area where I'd been using Griot's Undercarriage Spray (a VERY serious silicon product indeed!). I warned my painter about it and there were no problems. |
