Looks really interesting. Showroom, how big was bar? It looks like a good size in the picture. Is it 200 g like the Clay Magic bar?

I don't really know the weight of the bar to be honest with you. It's certianly bigger than my 100g Clay Magic bar. I would guess it's close to 200g.

DavidB,
Since you first posted about this product line, I've held off on buying another clay kit. My car is almost immaculate, but I'm getting an itchy trigger finger- so hurry up and bring this to market!

Isn't this the same set of products mentioned here: Glide, Block and Waffle! Showroomlincoln?

If it's the same stuff, then the lube is a soap, not a QD, and the bar is 4oz, which converts to about 113g...... All the info is in the 1st post.

Unless there's been changes of course.

Yes, it's the same products. I didn't say it was a QD, I said it would make a good QD.

Oh yes, I know you didn't say it was a QD, sorry. Is it really safe to use a "soap" like a QD without rinsing though?

Thanks for the review ShowroomLincoln. It sounds like an excellent product. Hope it's available soon as I'm just about to re-stock my clay supply.

Wow, this sounds like a pretty nice kit. I want one.

David, how much longer are you going to make us wait?

Brian,

It's somewhat different. It does not foam like a soap, it's just slick like a soap. I never got any foaming, residue, or streaking at all. Even on hot surfaces. It really is quite unique.

SRL,

Thank you for your kind words on the review. I'm glad you like GLIDE, BLOCK & WAFFLE.

In keeping with our "no SPAM" policy, I'm going to hold myself to the same standards that I hold all vendors. That being the case, I shall not answer any Autopia product question here in the general forum. Anyone interested can send me a PM.

I will open an Autopia Car Care forum soon, which I have also offered to a number of vendors. So far, no takers. CMA is sponsoring us again, but they indicated they are too busy right now to be involved in a CMA forum area. They are in the middle of installing a new warehouse/order processing system. Let's wish them well... it's a big job.
