I found the new Wolfgang 3.0 TSR and FG on sale a little while back that put them at a lower price point then the Menzerna SIP and 106ff they're supposed to be based on.

Anyways, I had a couple hours and a black BMW to play around with. Granted, I only took one shot (should have done an IPA wipedown) with a small point and shoot so I apologize for that.

The TSR was used with a PC, Orange 5.5 CCS LC pad for one pass
The FG was used with a PC, White 5.5 CCS LC pad for also one pass

I have minimal experience with Menzerna so I can't really compare the workability etc between the two but the Wolfgang is marketed as having less dusting. While the dusting was minimal...it was definitely there, unlike the Optimum line which I came from.

While doing the second half of the hood I had a strange occurence. After whiping off the polish I noticed what looked like fresh maring in thin lines. After a closer look it turned out to be polish..maybe gunked up, but not sure why it was in such thin long lines...maybe the pad. These were removed with a little elbow grease behind the MF or I left them and the FG application took them out.

Like most other polishes, less is more. I haven't quite figured out when either product is fully broken down and just used the finger swipe test. If a finger swipe revealed pretty product free paint I was done, if it left a greasy swipe I kept going. I'm very open to recommendations and suggestions here.

Tomorrow I'll be trying at least FG on a Subaru, hopefully that's all it will need.

On to the picture.. I really should have cleaned up the dusting before the shot but I think the 50/50 is still obvious

I've been using the TSR and Sealant for a while.

Both are top draw, the TSR does dust, but very low and works well in situations where you are tied over which polish to use for the right amount of cut. Will easy do a Subaru, did one other week with it.

I got to play with the TSR a bit the other day for the first time myself. I did a hood of a newer GM, and used a rotary with white LC CCS pad. I didn't have enough time to figure out exactly how much product to use (had some gumming issues), but I was happy with the results. It easily knocked out heavy swirls and rids, and left the finish pretty much LSP ready. My neighbor was floored (it was his car) by the finish it left, but then I kicked it up a notch by following it with UF SE.

I also have Menzerna polishes, but added this to the arsenal for when they act up in high humidity, or when I need a more aggressive one-step that finishes off nicely.

That is something I forgot to mention, the TSR really did finish LSP ready except for the most picky of persons, pretty neat. If I find some time I'll try TSR finished with Poliseal, should be interesting.
