Re: Review

I have one as well. I haven't used it much but when I did, it did work. Didn't really notice any marring but I see the potential for it.

Re: Review

Haven't used one but those photos on AG look like someone photoshopped the arm/scrubber into the pic.

Re: Review

I have the "CMA a.k.a. Proper Auto Care" branded one (I believe they're all the same) and I agree that it works pretty well. I've never really found any of my bug & tar removers work well on removing tar, but this sponge takes care of it pretty easily. It's definitely a must-have, especially if you have a light-colored car.

Re: Review

I got two of em for $5 from AG and they're great. I usually use them on my front bumper for getting the bugs off that hang around for the week.

Re: Review

I got a couple of these when they were on sale and LOVE 'EM!

They really help with bug laden bumpers.

I see they're cutting them in 1/2 thickness wise these days from the ones I got.

Re: Review

They are AWESOME, I love them. I use a product called bug slide to pre-treat the front end and then lots of soap and the sponge works great. I was scared of them when I took it out of the box though.

Re: Review

crap I must have done something wrong then. I hate it. I used it to get bugs off a black escalade and it marred the front pretty bad, I had to come back and polish that crap out. Did not have a good experience with it but maybe I did something wrong.

Re: Review

I've never had it mar anything so far. I let them soak in a bucket of fresh wash soap for a bit and massage it a few times.

Let the front presoak and actually wash the surface normally first; then scrub with the pad.

I've used it on white; black; bright red; chrome; dark red metallic and a light blue metallic...no issues thus far.

Didn't you read the fine print? It says something like this: "Using this product without photoshop fake suds and cheesy commentary may not yield desirable results."
