Last night I used Meguiar'sScratchX on the face of the iPod - screen was pretty bad shape. Rubbed in the ScratchX with application pad untill all but two larger scratches were gone. Tehn wiped off with microfiber colth and applied Meguiar's PlasX and rubbed it in well with microfiber. Voila !! like brand new iPod. sorry - no before/after pictures.
I have installed these on my Zune, iPod Video, and Razr cell phone. They are a trick to install but they work wonders. I can throw my keys in the same pocket as my device without worrying too much.
This is the more popular brand, but they are the same product.
now . . . do I top it off with UPGP or do I first put on a layer of DWG and then UPGP . . . or just do Klassesealant glaze . . . decistions . . . decisions.
I managed to keep my plastic peel on the front to prevent this, but the metal back is scratched up from my razr. Anyone bring that back to like new condition?
I've used Menzerna FP on the front, and aluminum polish for the chrome back.. The one I have (Eagle One) didn't work quite too well, nor from what I remember, did the Menzerna Twins work on the rear as well... I don't think I ever found the perfect median between heavy-cut pads/polish combo.
