Re: FX-100 Has Been Out of Stock for Months...Anyone know Why?

I'm babying my last half bottle too. As I heard some raw material shortage was responsible for the disappearing.

BTW, the name of the guy is Torey L. Langmann.

I knew it was Torey! I asked his name and thought I remembered him saying Torey, but everyone else was referring to him as Troy, I thought I just remembered wrong.

Ah, I misheard him, and then remembered the incorrect "Troy". Thanks for correcting that, Bence . Sheesh, I think you told me that once when we were discussing FK stuff and it went right past me

I wonder if Torey lurks on this forum, or is reading this thread?

If so: Torey: give us FX 100 again!

Re: FX-100 Has Been Out of Stock for Months...Anyone know Why?

On my last FK purchase, I asked for a sample of whatever they recommend to replace FX-100. They sent FK-216 Poly Wipe FX-Wet and Slick.

I applied it by hand with a Meg's foam applicator pad. I tried to remove with a MF but it was hard going. I grabbed the PC and a DF Towel and it came off with no problem.

It looks hi gloss similar to FX-100. Give it a try.

The lable says "removes scratches" (or words to that effect)..does this stuff contain any abrasives? One of the appealing things about the FX-100 was that being nonabrasive/noncleaning it could be used without disturbing whatever's already on the vehicle.

I just checked, it says it (216) "conceals" spiderwebbing. Has a "1" for "cleaning." But doesn't specifically say if it's non-abrasive, and it's listed in the "AIO" category as opposed to the 'Quick Detailing' that FX 100 is in.
