Good find on the Prep-All. I was thinking of helping a buddy with some rock chips on his car and was going to go pick up some 3M GP Adhesive Remover (naptha) to prep the spots.

Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Brimfield Ma Posts: 1,450 | Re: Wal Mart Prep-Sol? yes its the same thing..does the same job...I have used the dupont...Hi temp and 3m versions and this one and they worked the same ....and it works much better than the Alc/H20 mix at cleaning polish oils of the paint...
wear gloves using this and any prep sol product...it will dry your hands out real bad..they turn white...
your set now....
this works on taking of wax stains on plastic trim also...just use a fingernail brush to scrub them...then treat them right after...
