Red LC CCS Pads

I'm looking at picking up a few more pads for my PC, specifically pads for liquid sealants ad waxes. I've been looking at the red LC CCS pads, but I haven't heard of many using them. Most of the time I hear of people either using the blue or grey. To me they seem like a good choice since I believe they are the softest pads CCS pads offered. Is there a reason why? Do they tend to soak up the product by being too soft? I just wanted to get some opinions on these before I decide on them.

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

Personally I would have to say forget the red LC pads and get the white edge2000 pads, they are softer than the red LC pads regardless of what autogeek want you to believe.

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

I use them for Driven Quick spray. I'll have to do a comparison between the two pads

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

Anyone else? I don't know if I should get the red or the blue pads for my liquid waxes and sealants, or if there's really any difference.

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

I love using them on my PC for applying waxes/sealants. It's their softest pad and has zero correction abilites. Buy one, you won't regret it.

Are they too soft where they seem to squish almost flat with the slightest amont of pressure?

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

Not for me. For $6, you've got nothing to loose. Go for it.

Re: Red LC CCS Pads

I have the Blue CCS pad and it feels very soft. I wouldnt see an issue going to the red but it seems like no one uses it as there isnt many posts.

Isn't the white a polishing pad and the grey, blue and red are finishing pads? I have white, grey and blue and the white is not softer. What kind of white pad do you have?
