Lusso Oro and Revitalizing Creme - A small review...

Afternoon,

Since I was out of the country for a while, my truck had been outside at my parent-in-law's house the entire time. I put on a layer of Pete's '53 before we left and it held up well. But regardless, the thing was dirty.

I foamed the entire truck to release as much dirt as possible and then used a strong dilution of Citrus Wash to wash it. Needless to say, the Pete's took a beating. I wanted to give Lusso a try, so I used both the Creme and the Oro today. Here are my finding:

1) I started using the Creme by hand, but quickly switched to the PC. On speed 3 with a gray pad, it works very nicely. The Creme is easy to remove and leaves the surface squeeky clean. I am used to "nice" smelling products, but the Creme smells like a chemical. Well, maybe I shouldn't be surprised there as it's a paint cleanser.

2) After cleansing the entire paint, I took out a Megs foam pad and went to down with the Oro. I found the wax to be harder than the other waxes I had. This ended up being a good thing as it prevented me from putting too much on my Megs foam pad. The wax went on extremely easily and almost melted into my paint (reminded me of EZ Creme Glaze). After 60 seconds, I removed it with my CG black/yellow MF. It was by far the easiest wax I had ever removed, I was very impressed. Usually (for example with my Pete's '53) I had slight hazing, but none with this wax.

Took it out in the sun and the results speak for themselves. Please note that my truck has not been polished in over a year and a half, so it's not perfect.

Enjoy!

Thanks! Remember, this was using the Creme and Oro only. No glazes or sealants. Frankly, I read it does not play well with sealants.

Beautiful Dodge by the way! I don't think it's supposed to get on the trim, but I'm not taking any chances!

The tires were done with Poorboys Natural Look. It doesn't look good for some reason in picture 2, but you get the idea in picture 3. Love the way this stuff looks!
