Winter Beards?

Just curious as to who grows a winter beard.

I started doing it in college due to our high winds and walking a lot equated into chapped cheeks for me, so I grew a beard.

Now, I've grown accustomed to doing so, plus my fiance loves it.

Anyone else do this? Or just keep one year round? No way I could, much too hot in the summer.

I have had a beard year round since I was 18 or so.

Here I am at 32 back in 1996 with my middle daughter, this was taken when we lived in Orlando, FL. Never found it to be hot at all...

I used to grow mine in the fall and shave in the spring back in college, but since around 1990, I've been fuzzy-faced full-time.

Beats shaving everyday.

I grew a winter beard in 1980 and then never shaved it off! I don't find it hot in the summer at all.

I've had a very short beard since January of this year. As long as the job situation allows for it, I'll be hanging on to it for a while.

HIPPIES!!!!! Just kidding... I'd have a beard if it was fitting for my job, but I have too many "higher ups" from the main company coming into my office from time to time.
