Recommendations for a heavy duty digital wristwatch

I am looking for an "industrial" strength digital wristwatch.

My brother really beats up on his watch and the Timex Ironman watches are no match for him.

Do you have any suggestions? Maybe some sort of military watch that GI's use?

It's his birthday and I went to get him a watch that will stand up to his line of work.

Thanks

I had my Casio G-shock on 24/7 in Iraq for 7 months. It is still working even after an in-field swap of batteries. NOT a good thing. The watch is pressurized so once you break the seal, its done.

I would go with one of the Casio G-shock lines.

I have this one

It does have its bad sides though. Those stupid counting things are pointless to me.

I like this one,

www.casio.com works for me.

This will sound stupid, but ever try something made of metal? It may not meet the requirements for his job, but I love my Tag Heuer link series watch. Accurate as heck too, beats out my Seiko 5 and Citizen Navihawk in terms of accuracy.

What does your brother do?

Another vote for the G-Shock. Yeah, gotta admit those TAGs are accurate. Mine's a SEL, the predecesor to the Link series, about 11 years old or so and never misses a beat.

I have a Casio G-shock my wife got me for Christmas, and I love it.
Solar battery charged, and atomic clock reception. The thing rocks big time. Ive always been a Casio owner, and have yet to have one go bad or break on me. They usually just get outdated, like acomputer, or the band breaks after a couple yrs, and I say the heck with it, "I want that one"......and buy a new one! Im the same way with watches as I am with detailing prod's!
