They make little "pore cleaning machines", gizmos that sorta vacume them out. I know some people who swear by them. Or you could get the Biore (sp?) pore cleaning strips. They're like tape that pulls the [stuff] out. Or you could use a facial cleanser made for such (aggressive) cleaning (but those always caused trouble for me). Or you could ask a dermatologist (which you should see from time to time anyhow) what to do about it.

I'll throw in a vote for a patient girlfriend/wife with a pair of tweezers, or the Biore strips. My wife seems to have a strange fascination with removing blackheads from my nose. I also use the Biore strips occasionally, and am constantly amazed at some of the junk they remove.

You might want to consider using a light facial scrub two or three times a week. I know Clinique makes a 7 day facial scrub that I like (my wife bought it for me). It costs about $20 for a tube, but with the amount I use, the tube will last me 2-3 months. It is very mild as far as facial scrubs go, and seems to moisturize my face a little too; I notice myself not using as much aftershave lotion on the mornings I use the scrub.

Have the same problem. I'm having decent luck with using that Medicated Swiss facial scrub that's less than 3 bucks a tube at Sprawl Mart..have to do it everyday..then I try to put some astringent or toner when I get out of the shower

I'm curious about the vac. Biore works, but doesn't seem to pull most of them out..

The ProActiv stuff works well too

hmm.

paint and skin...I'm sure lots of similarities can be found...

Maybe Klasse should come out with a skin care line...don't know about having the acrylic shine tho..

I explained the process of paint care to my wife using skin-care analogy... got stuck at sealant though...

Biore strips don't do much to mine.....i just squeeze the skin a bit like i would a popping a pimple....tons of junk comes out...you should try it with a bit of tissue....squeeze from top and bottom on the bottom of your nose where it meets your cheek....that's where the most comes out.....i do this and exfoliate....then moisture every couple days....

If you've got the balls..you can get a cheap ballpoint pen, take out the ink tube, and use the open non-ink end and push it aorund the blackhead and it should force it out.

I've always used biore strips and apricot face scrub. My problem is mostly whiteheads though..harder to remove.
