Im not a pro, but im not just some hack. Im 19 and in collede,I love to deltail cars, truck, and dirtbikes. I made some flyers and I rang some doorbells in the surrounding neighborhoods. I had a few bites but nothing to big. Do any of you guys do this? How do you get your name out there when you first started?

Jared to be honest with you, there really is no magical way of getting your name out there, unless you open up a large car wash place/shop where you get tons of walk-ins daily.

I you're doing a good one-man job and want to get more clients, you're simply stuck with slowly growing. You'll probably get 1-2 new clients a month, sometimes more sometimes less. If you advertise more and in effective places (certain newspapers, car dealers/shops, car clubs, etc.) you'll obviously get more exposure, but it's really the word of mouth that helps most.
