what color are your shirts?
so my question is this:
what color are your business shirts? not the polos or nice shirts you may have for meetings and such, but I am talking about T-shirts/work shirts. What kind are they, and how long do they last? I am looking to have a batch of shirts made again and need to figure out what colors, and what kind of shirt. The last set of shirts lasted about 1-1.5 years with use about once a week, so 50 washes or so. They started fading noticeably at the 30/40ish mark. they were black and dark blue! i really like the dark blue ones, but am looking for another color besides black! Print is typically white, but obviously if a grey shirt, black would be the color used!
list them up!

Re: what color are your shirts?
My old ones were blue with orange and white lettering. My last batch was a very lightweight black with the logo actually embriodred on it. Still tweaking the new logo before I get the next batched order. I pay about $700 for 30 of them with all artwork and embroidery done. If I would keep it the same everytime I would get a price break since the artwork is done. But I keep changing my mind on things so I always seem to have to pay for new artwork.
Then I also have ash grey hoodies for the colder months.

Re: what color are your shirts?
Ash gray T-shirts here with dark blue/black lettering. I'm going to be getting some hoodies made soon, I can't decide what colors to go with, I'm thinking Red with white lettering.

Re: what color are your shirts?
i got a nice royal blue with white lettering on my shirt.
The key to long lasting shirts is to not put them in the dryer. I hang dry all my work shirts and nice shirts/clothes and all the junk stuff gets dried.

Re: what color are your shirts?
ever thought about uniform rental? i work for cintas and have a ton of detail shops on my route. for about $15/week, they will supply, wash, and deliver you nice uniforms (shirts and pants). anything from golf shirts, dry fit stuff, regular shop uniforms, etc....all with embroidery or whatever you want. they will also replace and upgrade your shirts as needed so they always look like new.

good lord man thats expensive. im not sure what exactly your shirts look like, but check out Flip Side Industries.
i use to have a clothing company and went through them and would have 72 shirts for,i think, about $300. those shirts had 3 colors in the design and placement in one spot. its worth checking out though, maybe save ya some cash.

Re: what color are your shirts?
I had black, dark gray, and some red shirts that were screen printed with my full color logo. I bought dickies shirts from thier website. One of the best tshirts i've ever worn. It is expensive this way, they are like 15 bucks for a 2 pack. You can get haynes heavy duty from a shirt shop for like 4-5 bucks a peice. But you get what you pay for and dickies last, they don't fade much at all, and they don't shrink, stretch, they hold their shape. And they hold screen printing better. But most of the time i did not wear them. I usually had on a black wife beater. It gets kinda hot down here in florida.

That's what we do. All my guys are in black uniforms, black pants, black button down shirts with out logo, black shoes and black belt. Having a uniform company works really well because everyone has a clean uniform every day. Definitely a professional touch.
