Thanks!
(I hate this 10 character limit because I can't simply type thanks, but have to type thanks and then also how I have the 10 character limit)

Re: Show your business card
I thought we can't post contact info on here?
If I am incorrect I would gladly add the other side of my card to the post.
The pic on my card is from the Lamborghini press release event we detailed for awhile ago - Lamborghini Event

I didn't see anything in the sticky'd threads. Anyways, the only guys in this particular sub-forum are the pros. I don't think we will be selling any business to each other any time soon.

Re: Show your business card
I am currently an HTM (Hospitality and Tourism Management) major at Virginia Tech and I remember one of my HTM professors telling me that black is a bad color for business cards because people could not write information on them (phone numbers, estimates etc.) Have any of yall had a problem with that? I personally had some black business cards and they do stand out compared to everyone else's white card stock, but idk if there are any drawbacks

Re: Show your business card
how many times do you write the number down on a card when your number and all necessary contact info is already on there??? and if you want to set it up for an appointment card, then obviously you arent going to use black. I think it looks more elegant/professional! people have commented on my card saying nothing but good things!

One side full color/black, one side blank minus a small watermark- problem solved and how I do it. Find myself often writing on the back of my cards; a price quote, scheduling, my window tint/RV mechanic/product supplier info, etc.

Re: Show your business card
And Ivan's Lustr card has almost the same background as mine. Great minds, right?

That might be true but I think it's business dependent... I use my cards more of as a luxurious advertisement, if that makes sense... just something pretty for people to remember you by and call for services. As for writing stuff down, I have a notebook keeping track of contact info of everyone I speak with and also a little zip up binder/folder to keep that in along with check in sheets, price sheets, etc. on which I write estimates, etc.
Yes there are times, very rarely, where I don't have the binder and I'll quickly jot down crap on the card (estimate, open dates, etc.) but it's still legible, especially on the matte cards I'm currently using.
