Where to place fliers?

I just got 500 of these fliers, trying to figure out where I would get the best use out of them. Any recommendation?

Re: Where to place fliers?

Honestly I would not expect much from passing out 500 fliers. Most people just consider them an annoyance. Find a nice neighborhood and put them in the door or in the mailbox section not intended for regular US Mail.

Re: Where to place fliers?

If you put them in the door you'll most likely need a permit to solicit from the city you are in.

Another reason not to do fliers at all.

Re: Where to place fliers?

Go to local car shows and talk with the people there and educate them on your business and services and what you can for them (in specifics) while you hand them your flier

^ true, but if someone were to talk specifics with you and what they can do for you and YOUR car and then bust out the flier, I bet you would be a little more receptive of them as would just about anyone.

A flier by itself is a nuisance, a flier and a bit of your time, taste of your passion for your hobbyjob and a bit of saleman charm now becomes a potential customer/sale
