Re: My logo mock up, your input?

It's a good start but I would start with making your first letters capitalized.

Re: My logo mock up, your input?

I personally think its a little busy

Maybe make the P S and C much more dominant. Let the rest of the text be much smaller. Screw the wheel, or make it more prominent.

You want Simple and Memorable. Busy is uh.. not so effective.

I don't mean this to be harsh friend - just trying to help

Re: My logo mock up, your input?

just remember the rules of logo's

clear
effective
looks great in both color and black and white
is easily transferable to multi-mediums

I don't think that logo really follows the rules effectively. your design guy really should've known that and told you. I think it would look decent on a business card. but trying to make it into letterhead or embriodered on a shirt i don't think it will look good. just my $.02

Jake speaks the truth, and this info should be cross posted to every 'Check out my new logo/website/business card!11' thread. If it isn't presentable in black and white, start over.

You want to create some continuity across business cards, uniforms, envelopes, vehicle signage, websites, etc- and alot of the designs posted will lose any positive attributes doing so. Check out logofaves.com, logopond.com, etc.

Re: My logo mock up, your input?

It's always a good idea to study other designs. They don't have to be of the
same field. For a font, Helvetica (variations of) works well.

Re: My logo mock up, your input?

What about this? Should I have Auto Salon in a different font? also should I keep that chrome look?

Re: My logo mock up, your input?

You think the word precision in platinum effect like the first one I posted would look good. Then have Auto Salon in a plain looking font without the effect?
