New website, new look!

The website was just launched with the new look. Let me know what you guys think. There are still a few things that need to be tweaked and added. Please leave some comments or anything I need to adjust/add.

I had this done by a web developer, not done by me.

Thanks for looking!

Adam Odgaard

Re: New website, new look!

The only thing to note is your pricing is all over the place. At the basic level your charging around $65/hr then your premium when you break it down your at around $26/hr and then for your ulitmate your only charging $14.25ish an hour... Seems like a huge jump in price differences... The better you make it the less you get paid.

Re: New website, new look!

I know, but since I am new in the area I need to get more of a clientele before I can charge more prices on my Ultimate. The more people that begin to trust me and see the work I can do with the rotary, the higher the price will start to go

Thank you for the comment though!

Keep them coming!

Re: New website, new look!

Good luck with that. You have a lot of very top notch talent right there in Indy to compete with. Shouldn't be to hard to get a solid rep in a city that has alot of top guys already. Most of the customers should already be accustomed to what true professional detailing is...Unlike so many of us that live in areas that think the local carwash is more than enough to call it clean LOL.

Re: New website, new look!

I didn't really give much atention to the pricing being all over. But, you are pretty cheap. My full detail, which takes approx 20-26 hours is $1200.00. My basic car wash is $65.00. Maybe Indy is a different demo but, I think you are a tad low.

Just my 2 cent! Oh, site looks great!

What's up, Jake?!?!?!!?

Re: New website, new look!

Do you clean seats? I'm not sure it says so. Very nice web site. I think your prices need some adjustments. I cant clean an interior and a trunk in an hour. I charge approx $100 for a full interior ( leather extra and trunk) and think I'm cheap for the service I give.

Re: New website, new look!

call your basic detail a WASH please...its very misleading for the industry!!!! You are playing the name calling game and its hurting the industry as a whole...

a detail is much more involved than a wash, call a spade a spade

I consider a "wash" what you get at the local automatic car wash. My basic detail is more than just a wash. Does the local car wash dress trim, use the 2bm, thoroughly clean wheel faces/barrels, etc? Its a very basic detail/service that I offer and am capable of doing.

Thanks for the criticism but I'll keep it as is...

Any more comments?

Re: New website, new look!

Since I've already offered my two cents as has Eric and you shut him down, I'll give you a total of four cents.

First, you weren't offered criticism, Eric offered an opinion based on a review you solicited. As previously mentioned, my "Basic Wash" starts at $65.00 and includes wipe down and treatment of interior, door jambs, sills and seats. You answered Eric by comparing your "Basic Detail" to that of a tunnel car wash noting that you clean the wheel tunnels, etc. Well, as with my Basic Wash, most tunnel car washes perform a complete wipe down of the interior, door jambs, sills, seats as well as vacuum. So, using your math, your "Basic Detail" falls short of that offered with a Basic Wash in most tunnel wash facilities, no??

I didn't think I was shutting him down. Anyways, my basic detail doesn't include any interior cleaning. For the sake of it all, it will be changed to a basic wash.

Re: New website, new look!

Not trying to be a hard ***. Just thought you were looking some input and you received some from a pretty busy detailer. So, it might be worth it for you in the long run. Also, you can add services - either a la carte or as a package - to add an additional service level.

And, again, the site looks good, very clean!

Re: New website, new look!

I took the advice! Basic Detail is now a Basic Wash. He was right, its no where near the potential of a detail. I also adjusted my Ultimate Detail pricing as well. Thanks for the advice.
