Wax?

What are some of the other pros using on a daily basis on say wholesale cars, auction cars compared to the everyday basic detail. Im not talking the high end waxes used for more expensive details and high end cars.

I am currently using Car Brite Nano Wax (eagle One) for wholesale cars and cars heading to auctions from dealers.

and Meg. No. 26 on the everyday basic details...

We have some crazy weather changes here and high humidity usually these two seem to work well in these conditions.

i lay on collinite on every car I do...easy on easy off, and EASY washings after!

I did use the last bit of NXT v1 I had lying around on a grey audi the other day and it really deepend the look of the car!

I am looking into a volume wax as well, and was thinking the meguiars liquid wax for monthly clients...but I need to research something that will not stain trim, be easy on and off like the collinite

Nano wax (eagle one by carbrite) is still entirely way to expensive to be putting on auction and dealer cars. I have it and only the very best auction or dealer cars would get the nano wax. Usually I would just use some Phase II by productions. Or butter wax by Vesco. Both much cheaper than Nano and compariable results. You're wasting a lot of money by putting that on. Go even cheaper for the dealer/auction cars.

Glaze em and ship em. Forget the wax all together.

BINGO!!!! I only wax them if they are nice cars.. The junk ones get glaze only!

I agree with David, if they're auction cars then what's the fuss for?
If you're not getting much money for it and there's really no expectations other then have it clean for auction then why waste unnecessary time.

Just make it look good and forget waxing.

That's not what I typically tell people though.

takes 20 min to lay a coat of collinite 845 on...selling point as "it has a long lasting durable paint sealant on the car"

I only use Race Glaze 42, 55 and Swissvax Onyx, Saphire, Concorso for my details. If you want cheap get sealants, I use them on dealer cars, its much cheaper and looks better. Durability is no good but you dont need to worry about that.
