Re: Door to Door?

Check the weather forcast before you go hand out these flyers, otherwise your wasting your time and money...Also you might want to invest in a website..

Re: Door to Door?

Just had some business cards made up for free, along with my new flyer im making. T-Shirts or Polos are a nice idea but I really dont have the money for it right now. And the website is a free site from webs.com nice simple adress. Basic construction and no fancy flash galleries and what not but gets the job done, ability to schedule an appointment online and descriptions of all the main services, photos will be addded as I complete cars.

Re: Door to Door?

I was at the gas station the other day and seen a very nice 05 Suburban in Black. It looked perfect but then I seen all the swirls on it when the sun hit it just right. The guy noticed me looking at his truck so I struck up a conversation. Asked him if he ran it through the automatic car wash and yes he did, weekly. I told him I owned a detail shop and 15 minutes later booked a full detail on the suburban. I don't know if it will work again but I sure will try!!

I think going door to door is a waste of time but looking at cars that do need help and striking a conversation up with them will have better results and less expense.

Not to start this thread back up but you suggest that sitting outside bp gas station posing like I'm pumping my gas, all the while, I'm looking for someone to strike a convo about detailing. I like that.
