Please help me... my website is not working!!

I ordered a domain form godaddy.com. I was referred to them by this site.

Anyways, I paid for 1yr., and a photo album add on. It cost $10.81

I tried editing the site, but it will not let me "make it live". I cant upload a background photo, nothing. When I go to the website, it is covered in Godaddy advertisement. PLEASE HELP me guys!

I too have a Website throught Godaddy. I was changing some things a minute ago and it crashed and said "Unable to Edit". It's been slow like this for a few days; I dunno, maybe their having problems. I would call them. They have a # to call and they've been able to help me late at night sometimes. I've never had a problem with my website showing up though. The only advice I can give you about the site is to go ahead and pay for more than a year. Search engines don't like to see short term sites, some of them think it's spam. I just learned through trial and error, I am not even close to being a pro in this field, maybe someone else will chime in that knows more about computers and the web.

If you paid $10.81, you merely bought the domain name and not the hosting services.

You need to buy the hosting services. Domain name service has limited (or free) hosting (that why you see the go daddy ads)
