What pads should be used for a rotary and AIO Buffing or Finishing ?

Good question. Since I don't use a rotary I'll let someone else handle that one. I know ShowroomLincoln has used a rotary with AIO before. Generally I wouldn't think it would be necessary to use a machine at all with AIO. Its pretty easy to do by hand. Unless you have serious oxidation like this truck had then you could probably get away with just using whichever pad is the softest. You don't always need a hard or abrasive pad to get results. What's the condition of the vehicle you are thinking about using it on?

Its pretty good minor swirls. Are there any advatages to useing it with a machien instead of by hand on a good finish. ?

Not really an advantage unless you are dealing with time constraints. You could do the job 4 times faster with a machine on a really bad surface. It probably cuts the time down by a third on a clean surface. The real benefit is that a machine helps spread the product around so you don't waste as much. I wouldn't use AIO for swirls anyway. It won't do anything. AIO is fairly non abrasive and it is just a cleaner product.

It probably protects better than carnabua. It shouldn't really matter though. AIO is not a standalone product. It should be topped with a real sealant or wax of some type. Its a cleaner product. Its not really meant for protection. It may put down some protection, but its not substantial. You still need to wax or use a sealant.

Ok thanks for clearing that up I usually do 2 coats of AIO Topped with S100. I finally got some SG But I dont always apply it over AIO I guess I will do that everytime now to get maxium protection.

Jngrbrdman, is UPP on and off, or is like SG and Zaino, wait for a haze?

Its pretty easy. You just apply it and maybe let it sit for a few minutes. Then you just buff it off. Its thicker than SG so you don't have the problems of hazing or buffing it off. It goes on and off more like a wax. I don't think there is a certian amount of time you need to wait either. I just apply it to the whole car and buff it off after its all on. Pretty slick.
