!!IMPORTANT!!

When you receive your really cool new 3401 make sure to do the following...

Remove backing plate.

Remove felt ring.

Soak felt ring in a lubricant. I was told to use a light automotive oil. I used 10W30 Mobil 1 because it was handy and I have had years of great luck with the product.

Wipe and dab any excess oil off of the felt, as you don't want it dripping or slinging excess. I just used a few paper towels.

Reinstall the felt ring.

Reinstall the plate, making sure to get it nice and tight.

Using the same (provided) wrench, tighten the two bolts that connect handle to the 3401.

Tada! You just saved yourself a real pain in the *** later on!
