Wow, that's a lot of coin for detailing products. I just ordered some foamed wool pads as well. You know that 106FA = 106FF right?

Except that 106FA has longer working time.

Why didn't you buy a gallon of SIP instead of quarts? and then tack on what extra you needed?

Menzerna Super Intensive Polish 128 oz (aka PO83 and PO85RD3.02)

Would have saved yourself 50 bucks.

the gallon does not pour very well, quart's store better when 1/2 empty less air gets to them.

ff is merc specific, fa is bmw specific.

out of the two fa is a little more temperature tolerant and longer work time.

Re: Thanks phil, another 1000 spent

Jeff silver has mentioned it here on autopia before. The "polish" portion of the two are the same. simply the working characteristics are different.

FWIW as I understand it Phil purchased the last remaining pallets of SIP for menzerna usa. The next order of sip will not be in untill mid to late fall. Hence my reason for buying a case of sip.

I better buy some up soon then. Though you'd think Menzerna would have enough foresight to not simply be out of stock all summer (busy season, no less).
