Re: Infratech CM5300

Phil,

On your website you list two different CM5300s (or is it a part). What is the difference?

Re: Infratech CM5300

yes one is at a sale price and one isn't, the one that is lower is for members of this forum etc.

the one that isn't is not.

Re: Infratech CM5300

Thanks Phil.

I used this light before. If you have an electrical outlet (HEHE) then this is a fantastic tool.

Re: Infratech CM5300

What kind of lights/bulbs does it use? How well does it stack up against halogens?

hey but if you are doing paint correction about 100% of the time you will be using an orbital or a rotary so unless you have a cordless machine

you will have an electrical outlet by you

Re: Infratech CM5300

I have and I used it to touchup a few areas on a f430. It was raining out so it was nice to have the 5300. I still used the halogens, but can put the light right where I need it w/ the 5300.

Didn't you say you felt the halegon's did a better job showing the defects though?

Re: Infratech CM5300

I really love the CM5300. I hold it high above the paint surface so I can see defects on a larger scale. Its wide range, brightness and NOT having to use batteries makes it a winner for me. Heres some pics also , no flash was used but some came out blurry.

After finishing Ultrafina

Re: Infratech CM5300

Just order mine today. I was trying to decide between this one and the Sun Gun, but at this amazing price, what the heck, you can't go wrong with it.
