Recent details... 2007 Ford Edge, 2001 Jeeep Grand Cherokee

These two details were of my own vehicles.

2007 Ford Edge, dune pearl metallic, camel leather interior and carpeting. This is my wife's vehicle, purchased on October 12th. Due to my work schedule between the firehouse, the fire academy and other details, I finally got to detail the Edge on Monday, October 29th.

The Process:

Washed with CAR Products Sudsational car wash shampoo via the two bucket method and dried with Sonus Der Wunder microfiber drying towels.

Tires and wheels were also cleaned using the Sudsational car wash shampoo.

The paintwork was clayed with Meguair's blue detailing clay and polished using Meguair's #9 followed by Meguiar's #3, both applied via PC on Sonus polishing pads.

This was followed by Meguiar's #21 synthetic sealant X 2 via Sonus finishing pad and topped with Collinite 845IW as the LSP.

The glass was cleaned with Stoner's IG, exterior glass treated with RainX.
Tires were treated with Meguair's Endurance, lower body trim was sprayed with Stoner's Trim Shine.

2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driftwood brown satin metallic, brown cloth interior. 57.5K miles. I took the Jeep over as my daily driver, I detailed the exterior on the evening of Friday, November 2nd and the interior on November 3rd.

The Process:

Washed with CAR Products Sudsational car wash shampoo via the two bucket method and dried with Sonus Der Wunder microfiber drying towels.

Tires and wheels were also cleaned using CAR Products Magnum wheel cleaner and MaxiWhite tire cleaner

The interior just needed a good vacuuming, dash and door panels were cleaned with Meguiar's Interior QD, gauge cluster and radio/CD face were polished with Meguiar's PlastX.

The glass was cleaned with Stoner's IG, exterior glass treated with RainX.
Tires were treated with Meguair's Endurance, lower body cladding was sprayed with Stoner's Trim Shine.

These pics were taken this afternoon in the parking lot of my firehouse.

Beautiful, that color on the Edge is crazy, I have yet to see that in person yet. I have almost the same truck, I love it, I will have to get some Trim Shine as it does a great job on the black plastic pieces.

That Jeep looks brand new, amazing job man.

Great job. Both look great. I use Trim Shine a lot. It also works great for underhood -- since most everything visible is plastic.

Both look great. They should be well protected for the winter weather.
