Recent details... 2005 Quest, 2005 Mustang

These are four of the most recent details I did. Two were clients, two were my own vehicles.

First up: 2005 Nissan Quest, dark blue metallic. light tan cloth interior.

The Process:

Washed with CAR products Sudsational car wash shampoo via the two bucket method.
Wheels cleaned with CAR products MAgnum wheel cleaner.
Tires cleaned with CAR Products Maxiwhite tire cleaner.
Engine compartment cleaned with ZEP Citrus cleaner mixed 50/50

Paintwork: clayed with CAR products Microbar mild clay, Meguair's Final inspection as the lubrication medium, then buffed with Meguiar's #2 fine cut cleaner using a maroon Meguiar's foam cutting pad via PC. This was followed by Meguiar's #9 swirl remover on a green Sonus polishing pad via PC and Meguiar's #21 synthetic sealantr X2 with a Sonus finishing pad.

The interior was in good condition... vacuumed, seating surfaces, mats and carpeting cleaned with ZEP carpet and upholstery cleaner, and extracted with the Bissel LGM.

Dssh and door panels cleaned with Zep Citrus cleaner mixed 75% water 25% cleaner, followed by Meguiar's Interior QD.

Stoner's IG on the windows, exterior windows treated with Rain X; Meguair's Endurance on the tires. Total time: 7 hours. I only had time for a few exterior shots, as I had to go to work for my 2nd night tour.

and of course.. the obligatory reflection shot!

Ive never seen such a good looking minivan! The results on the Mustang speak for themselves, you did a great job on both cars.

Side note-what color is the Ford truck in the background?

Re: Recent details... 2005 Quest, 2005 Mustang

Nice job on both vehicles. The Quest has a ton of paint to polish, I can feel your pain. Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer works great on my wife's van interior. Cleaning up that center column with the crinkle finish is a pain.
