Recent details: 2008 Explorer SportTrac, 2005 Mustang GT

2008 Ford Explorer SportTrac, Black Cherry Metallic, 90 miles on the odometer.

The owner of the Light Khaki Grand Chreokee I posted about earlier picked up this little beauty on Monday. There was some imbedded contaminants on the paintwork from shipping the vehicle via rail and truck. The owner of this little gem instructed the dealer not to wash it.

The Process:

The tires and wheels were cleaned with a solution of Gold Class shampoo.

The paintwork was washed with Meguiar's Gold Glass Shampoo via the two bucket method.
Clayed with Meguiar's Blue detailing clay with Meguiar's #34 as the lubricant.
Rewashed with Gold Class, dried using Sonus Der Wunder drying towels.

Polished with Meguiar's #3 machine glaze on a Sonus Green polishing pad via PC.

Sealed with Meguair's #21 synthetic sealant x 2 on a sonus blue finsihing pad via PC and topped with Collinite 845 insulator wax via PC using a 3M finsihing pad.

Tires were treated with Eagle One Concours tire spray, wheels were polished with meg's #21 synthetic sealant.

Stoners Invisible Glass and Rain X on the windows.

2005 Mustang GT, Torch Red, black and red leather interior.

The paintwork was pretty smooth, just a minor amount of bonded contaminats on the lower body panels.

The Process:

The tires were cleaned with CAR Products Maxiwhite, the wheels were celaned with Car Products Magnum wheel cleaner.

The inetrrior just needed a light vacuuming and the surfaces were cleaned using Meguiar's Interior Quick Detailer.
