2004 BMW M3 Jet Black and Swissvax Concorso

2004 Jet Black M3 with 40k on it.

I underestimated this one by a long shot after the wash and the clay I realized just how bad, spent much more time then I thought I would....[mad]

Take a look:
Products Used:
Adam's Car Wash
Adam's Clay Bar with Adam's Detail Spray as lube
Adam's VRT
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Adam's Undercarriage
Adam's Metal 1 (exhuast)
P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel
P21S Autowash
Menzerna Top Inspection (cleaning the panels after paint correction)
Menzerna SIP
Menzerna 106
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid
Swissvax Concorso
Einszett Leathercare
Einszett Cockpit
Einszett Detail Spray (final wipe down)

Procedure:
Exterior:
1. Rinsed down the wheels (they were cool enough to touch)
2. Sprayed down the wheels with some P21S Wheel Cleaner
3. Sprayed down the wheel wells and tires with P21S Autowash
3. Brush and cleaned the wheels and tires with a Boar's Hair Brush
4. Rinsed down the wheels, tires, and wheel wells
5. Rinse the car down
6. Used the Foam gun with Adam's Car wash
7. Rinse car off throughly
8. Spritz some Adam's Detail Spray on the car and dried off the car.
9. Brought the car in and proceeded to clay the car using Adam's Clay Bar and Detail Spray
11. Used the Metabo with Menzerna SIP (po83) to polish out all the imperfections. (green pad) a few passes per panel at 1800 rpm (Metabo rotary)
12. After each section was corrected I buffed off the excess polish with a MF Buffing Towel and Menzerna Top Inspection
13. Used Metabo with Menzerna po85rd with E2k blue pad at 1500rpm to finish the paint off with a nice deep wet shine. (removed excess polish with MF Buffing towe and Menzerna Top Inspectionl)
14. Rinsed and washed off the car again (foam gun) and dried the car.
15. Applied Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and removed with MF Towel (removed after you apply in small sections, you don't want this to dry up)
16. Applied Swissvax Concorso by hand and let sit for about 10-13 minutes, buffed off to a nice wet and deep shine with a MF Towel
17. Cleaned up the windows with Adam's Glass Cleaner (interior/exterior)
18. Dressed the tires with Adam's VRT
19. Dressed wheel wells with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
20. Used 1Z Einszett Detail Spray to clean off the wheels.
21. Used the 1Z Einszett Detail Spray for a final wipe down and inspected the car.

Engine:
1. Rinse down the engine
2. Sprayed P21S Autowash
3. Brushed it to agitate the dirt and grime
4. Sprayed it down
5. Let the engine run
6. Dried it up and dressed it with Adam's VRT and Adam's In and out

Interior:
While the Concorso was setting up I moved onto the interior
1. Vacuumed the Interior
2. Wiped down the door jambs with Adam's Detail Spray
3. Cleaned Windows in and out
4. Intensive cleaning with Einszett Cockpit on the dash and everything else that was not leather
5. Cleaned and Condtioned Leather with Einszett Leathercare

On to the pictures:

Before:

It was drizzling /raining all day so before shot shows a wet car with P21S on the wheels:

After the car was washed it was clayed outside, I dried up the excess detail spray and moved the car into the garage (look it all the swirls and light scratches:

Side by side (correction with SIP on the left side)

SIP followed by 85rd:

Before the 2nd wash:

Dust after 85rd:

Rinsed down the dust before Swissvax cleaner fluid:

After shots:

The white on the rear bumper was removed --- some excess wax.

Re: 2004 BMW M3 Jet Black and Swissvax Concorso

nice job... did you find that the 106ff was hard to work in, almost impossible to work in until it turns clear? I used it on a s55amg, and would not work in for anything, and it seemed to make the pad hop around, almost like it was gumming up, but not like menzerna usually does. Any ideas? by the way i see a nice audi with some cool looking wheels in one of the reflection shot... any more pics?

Re: 2004 BMW M3 Jet Black and Swissvax Concorso

Thanks!

Try to use less of it in a smaller area, are you using a rotary or PC?

The car in the back is an Audi RS6.

The car is a bit dirty:

20 inch BBS RS-Gt's

20 inch Sportecs:

19 inch BBS CH's

Current set up:

What do you think of that blue wheel brush that you stick on a drill?

I see it in your garage in the background.

Oh yea, and the M3 looks wesome!
