2004 Porsche Cayenne S Basalt Black - Swissvax Saphir

2004 Basalt Black Cayenne S with Sportec 22's
This car has about 58k on it driven daily. Swirls, light scratches, all the goodies.

I had to polish this thing out with Menzerna SIP with a yellow edge 2k pad then follow it with Menzerna 106 with a blue pad, on top of that we had to wash it a second time because we had to get aggressive with this one.

Take a look:
Products Used:
Adam's Car Wash
Adam's Clay Bar with Adam's Detail Spray as lube
Adam's VRT
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Adam's Undercarriage
Adam's Metal 1 and Metal 2
P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel
P21S Autowash
Menzerna SIP
Menzerna 106
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid
Swissvax Saphir
Einszett Leathercare
Einszett Cockpit
Einszett Detail Spray

Tools:
3m Sun Gun
Metabo 12-175
Tons of towels

Procedure:
Exterior:
1. Rinsed down the wheels (they were cool enough to touch)
2. Sprayed down the wheels with some P21S Wheel Cleaner
3. Sprayed down the wheel wells and tires with P21S Autowash
3. Brush and cleaned the wheels and tires with a Boar's Hair Brush
4. Rinsed down the wheels, tires, and wheel wells
5. Rinse the car down
6. Used the Foam gun with Adam's Car wash
7. Rinse car off throughly
8. Spritz some Adam's Detail Spray on the car and dried off the car.
9. Brought the car in and proceeded to clay the car using Adam's Clay Bar and Detail Spray
11. Used the Metabo with Menzerna SIP to polish out all the imperfections. (yellow pad) a few passes per panel at 1500 rpm (Metabo rotary)
12. After each section was corrected I buffed off the excess polish with a MF Buffing Towel.
13. Used Metabo with Menzerna 106 with E2k blue pad at 1500rpm to finish the paint off with a nice deep wet shine. (removed excess polish with MF Buffing towel)
14. Rinsed and washed off the car again (foam gun) and dried the car.
15. Applied Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and removed with MF Towel (removed after you apply in small sections, you don't want this to dray up)
16. Applied Swissvax Saphir by hand and let sit for about 10-13 minutes, buffed off to a nice wet and deep shine with a MF Towel
17. Cleaned up the windows with Adam's Glass Cleaner (interior/exterior)
18. Dressed the tires with Adam's VRT
19. Dressed wheel wells with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
20. Used 1Z Einszett Detail Spray to clean off the wheels.
21. Used the 1Z Einszett Detail Spray for a final wipe down and inspected the car.

Engine:
1. Rinse down the engine
2. Sprayed P21S Autowash
3. Brushed it to agitate the dirt and grime
4. Sprayed it down
5. Let the engine run
6. Dried it up and dressed it with Adam's VRT and Adam's In and out

Interior:
1. Vacuumed the Interior
2. Wiped down the door jambs with Adam's Detail Spray
3. Cleaned Windows in and out
4. Intensive cleaning with Einszett Cockpit on the dash and everything else that was not leather
5. Cleaned the leather with Leather Master Strong Cleaner (used a soft brush and mf towel)
6. Conditioned the leather with Leather Master Conditioner/Revitalizer

From the look of those Vredesteins, that baby has been to Euro-Tire! Nice recovery.

Nice work! Paint looks swirl free in the afters and the interior looks new again.

Nice work ...always appreciate a clean engine bay. Wheels/tires would look better back on his Civic. He needs more rubber to fill those caves.

artikxscout,

typically no rinse after clay, I usually wipe off each panel with detail spray after claying.
