Thanks. lol, no, I finished the car on Sunday after dark and it was rainy. So, I went back the next day during work on my lunch break and snapped a couple of pictures. You can see what I normally wear in the reflection pic of the Merc.

Thanks.

Yeah, I noticed some of this stuff while I was adding the boarders to them. I figured I had better point them out so people didn't think I missed anything.

I know. I wouldn't have a black car as a Daily Driver, but my Mustang is going to be painted black cause it looks so good when clean.

Tell me about it. It took quite a bit of scrubbing to get it off and all the stuff behind the spokes. I wish I could have taken the wheels off. I did put her a coat of Klasse AIO on them so the dust will come off easier for a while.

Yeah, I should make a line of formal detailing clothes. Now you can look as good as the cars you work on.lol

Thanks buddy.

Tell me about it. That thing kept getting bigger and bigger with each pass. She just HAD the get the extended version.

Well, both. I used a rotary with a wool pad to get the sanding marks out and then I used a PC to get everything else off.

The rotart is just a cheap Craftsman one that I picked up at Sears. I only have a couple of wool pads for it right now. I plan on stepping up to a nice rotary and some foam pads a little later to help save some time. I got to save some money though. But right now, the PC is doing what I need it to do.

Great work, especially on the BMW. That Jet black paint can be a real nightmare : )

Two days. Half of Friday after work, all of Saturday and starting at 2:00 on Sunday.

Probably around 25 hours.
