Ford Fusion

Here is my starting point. I bought this used with 3700 miles on it. The car had been well taken care of. I have only used detail spray on it. I am waiting on an order of supplies to arrive to do a complete detail on it.

I was running out of daylight on New Year's day. Cleaned and ready for the first day of work of the new year!

Nice looking car! What are your detailing plans for it?

This is my daily driver, so I am thinking of protection first. I would like to keep the car looking this good or better for as long as possible. There are no swirls or scratches in the clearcoat at all. I have noticed a few rock chips in the paint that I need to repair.

I really enjoy driving a clean car, but have always owned older models that required a lot of work to clean.

I have some clay, Klasse AIO, and some of the acrylic detail spray on order, should arrive tomorrow. After I see the results, and the weather warms up, I may buy some P21s to see what that does.

Right now the weather has been really decent for Northern Illinois, when the snow and ice come it will be more challenging to keep it this clean.

Nice car, I have the same one in the same color except mine is an SE. In case you didn't know, Ford dropped that color for 2007, which means our cars are somewhat rare since they only offered the Fusion in Titanium Green for 1 year. Here is what mine looks like after 15,000 miles on it.

Thanks for the pics. That is what I fear my car will look like in a month. Winter hasn't really taken hold yet in the midwest.

You did a really nice before and after there. I bought a second set of floor mats to put over the originals to keep them clean.

Thank you for your service as well.
