The interior was in decent shape but the paint had a lot of minor scuffs, paint transfers, etc. No before pics, I started on it a little past 1 PM, meaning I had just over 4 hours to detail it inside and out before sunset. As you can see by the pics, I barely made it! To make matters worse, we got another blast of Arctic air and temperatures dropped all day long-it was around 37 when I finished with 20-30 mph north winds (by morning, it was 22) so I had that going against me too.
Anyway, some of the car was still in the sun when I started on the paint. I began with Optimum Compound using green Cyclo polishing pads and while it had no problems removing the defects, it was leaving some light marring-typical soft Honda clear coat. I switched to Optimum Polish and that did the trick. I had to make an extra pass or two each section but no biggie. I followed with Optimum's Poli-Seal using my PC and a white LC polishing pad. Application and removal was as easy as when it is warmer. I then finished with my blend of Meguiars #16 and FK's Pink Wax.
I think the reflection over the rear fenderwell shows just how late in the day I finished!
============
2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Weekly wash customer, last waxed with Poorboy's EX-P in late August. Still beading, slickness was down though. It only needed light polishing (last deep polishing was in April if I remember right) and since I got a late start due to the 22 degree low (it was barely 30 when I started on it at 10:30 am) I just went ahead and used Poli-Seal, PC and a white LC polishing pad. I was really pleased with the look on this dark grey metallic paint. Poli-Seal didn't remove every defect but it removed the vast majority of them. Besides, no point in any deep polishing until hunting season is over!

I was thinking the same thing about Poli-Seal being alot like 80 but with protection and removal ease. I too have experienced some cold-*** mornings. I was 25* here Friday at 12:00PM!
LOL!
Nice protective sheet of ice to seal the paint with.

Scott how would you describe the difference in person?
Btw, here in Denmark (northern europe) we still have around 40*F in the morning rising to almost 50*F during the days. I feel so lucky
