LOL

The owner just bought this truck not too long ago, as is.

He's a good friend who's family owns a local body shop that has done some work on my car and he refers alot of people my way.

Gave him the "half price" discount.

Nice, but is that your wash mitt I see on the ground in the third picture?

How long did you spend and much of the swirls were you able to remove (didn't see any "after" pics in the sun...usually, anything that is at least 80% free of swirls will basically look perfect in photos).

yah, it is my wash mitt. oops. I wash them after each wash. My gf was helping, and this was after a full interior/exterior on a Durango, so I wasn't "all there"

I spent about 3 hours on this Tahoe. The sun was going down by the time I was done, and I didn't have a chance to move it into the sun to see. I would say at least 75-80% of the swirls are gone now. The truck has clear coat degredation starting to happen on the hood (lots of little 7-9mm "cuts" or "scratches" in the paint) In the lighting that I had to use (basically the sun) I only saw very small imperfections in the paint after I was done. The lighting definately helps the after pictures look just a tad better.

Excellent work!

DACP is definitely a good swirl remover via PC and finishes well on GM's relatively hard paint.

I know alot of people here don't particularly like DACP, but since I've first started using it, I've gotten nothing but awesome results with a Meguiars burgandy cutting pad and the DACP. Not to mention that I can find it locally for pretty cheap in the gallon size, which I've gone thru maybe 1 1/2 gallons in about 3 years of frequent detailing.
