Black 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad

I picked up a truck at the Auction that had the Passenger side completely repainted, needless to say, the paintjob would've looked better if I did it with spray cans. The Truck is a Black 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad with 47,000 km's (30,000 miles) and I picked it up real cheap. On the weekend I called up a friend of mine who is a magician with sand paper and got him to wet sand most of the truck, he then brought the paint back up using a Makita Rotary with a yellow 10" pad and Menzerna polishes....

I took over from there with a PC and took out any remaining hazing and holograms with a White LC pad and Zaino ZPC Fusion. after that I wiped with Z6, then I followed up with 1 coat of Z2pro/zfx.... I used just over an ounce to cover the whole truck. I did the interior but it was allready pretty clean so I didn't have to do any real hard work besides the obvious like windows and a wipedown....

Now I'm really bad at taking detailing pics... I even forgot to take a pic of the clean engine bay... ...... and the camera was definately not co-operating with me (gotta throw this one out)... anyhow here are some befores....

Looks like a huge improvement, although the first two after shots are pretty blurry.

Post up some more pics when you can get it out in the sun.
