1953 Ford F100 50th AE + Crazy garage pics

Did this for a client this weekend. Was a big job as a found out, lots of contours and tight spaces to get into. This was also my first go at a single stage paint.

The truck is an all show 1953 Ford F100 50th Anniversery Edition Custom Cab. It was re-painted about 6 years ago using a single stage fire engine red paint.

It's stored inside all the time, but it had an ENOURMOUS amount of industrial fallout on it. IT also made some medium swirling in it. So I had my work cut out for me.

BEFORE I get the pics of the car I'll post a few pics of this fellas garage. It's a 3.5 Car garage with some awesome deck. It's got a full surround sound system built into the garage along with pop machines, a golf cart for goign around the property, a motorized beer cooler and more tools than I would know what to do with.

Here' some pics of the garage.

That motorized beer cooler was an absolute blast to drive. You Can get some serious speed on this thing too!

Now for the car pics..
I got some good before pics from the 2 cars I did this weekend (have another post for the skyline) but for some reason the after pics aren't showing up on the digicam! So all I've really got is during and afters.

Process looked like so:
1st Pass - Optimum Hyper Compound via PC on Heavy Pad (Speed 6)
2nd PAss - Optimum Polish via PC on Light Cutting Pad (Speed 6)
3rd Pass - ClearKote RMG via PC on Finishing Pad (Speed 3)
S100 Wax

Here's a pic of the clay (ughh)

Here are the afters under the halogens
