S2000, TSX Details & Amazing Black MDX Transformation

This weeks details:

First on Monday was this S2000. Former employee of a shop, had a bunch of decals put on by the shop for show purposes, got called to de-sticker it. Car was fully detailed for the Formula D show back on June 10th for the shop, so it was a easy de-sticker and apply another coat of NXT.

It was HOT out that day, so no heat gun needed, only some plastic razor blades, some goo-gone and some DACP to cover up minor marring from the razor blades:

Camera batteries died and I didn't have any spares on me, so only a few pics:

Stickered up:

Residue on the hood

All done

front end

Next, the TSX

Next was a 2004 TSX, owned by my friend wife, who only has put 15K on it.

Their kids got some paint on the trunk while painting some birdhouses. Plus it has never been waxed in it's life either.

DACP
NXT
Hyper Dress 4:1 on wheels (gonna try 3:1 next once my bottle is empty)
trunk got clayed with some leftover clay that turned to mush almost immedietly in my hands and DACP'ed x4, got most of the paint spot off.

Paint spots:

Done in the garage:

My fav, a shot of the pearls in the paint

Onto the TSX's neighbor, a bad black MDX

The neighbor just got this MDX used about a month and a half ago. It was extremely swirls and had bad holograms on the hood and doors, probably from the Dodge dealer he got it at.

DACPx2 (sometimes 3 where needed)
NXT
HyperDressing 4:1 on wheels & wheel wells.
#34 after NXT removed

Before pics were taken at 12:30 outside before the wash:

Halos and swirls on hood and doors:

Big scuff/scrath/brillo pad looking mess in the door before:

after

more to come:

Yah, I can get DACP in bulk locally, and it's never done me wrong, so until it does, it's my go to product.

Meguiars cutting pad with a PC for the DACP
Grey LC pad for the NXT

Big improvement on the MDX.

I find that Meguiars polishes work best on Japanese and BMW paint for me.
