12 Hours of Power: 1990 ZR1 and 2003 Z71

Here's some work I did for fellow Autopian Bans25. Great guy to work for, long day though. I got in at 8:45 AM and out at 9PM, and didn't even get the interior done on the ZR1 .

2003 Silverado Z71 (No before pics, sorry)

Wash with FK1 #116
Clay with CG's clay bar and lube
Meg's Wheel Brightener 4:1 on rims
Castrol Super Clean 2:1 on tires and wells
HT Extreme Cut/orange pad/1500rpm on RIDS
70% Optimum Polish/10% Optimum Hyper/20% RMG mix via Cyclo/green pads
FK1 Pink Wax via Cyclo and LC white polishing pads
Chemical Guy's Extreme Oil-Based dressing on trim
AIO on metal
Meg's Endurance gel on tires

(that's me and the 'vette in the background)

Interior:
Folex on spots, agitated with PC brush
LGCM and Zep extractor shampoo
Woolite 1:6 and Mr. Clean Magic eraser to clean
Eagle One Nano-Protectant (I was actually very impressed by this product, it's my new favorite OTC interior dressing)
4* ULC on leather
Eagle One 20:20
Pb's Natural Look on rubber mats

Engine:
Castrol Super Clean 2:1
FK116 via foamgun
Mother's Reflections Tire care

The ZR-1

No befores, but it had medium swirling, overall pretty good condition.

Same wash, clay, rims as Z71
HT Heavy Cut via rotary/LC Orange pad/1500
Menzerna PO85RD via Cyclo/green pads
RMG via Cyclo/white pads
Pinnacle Souveran by hand

After polishing (before RMG+Souveran)

Finished

Both looks really good, interesting mix of polishes you used on the truck-how specifically is it working out for you?

The mix on the truck worked out pretty good, it took everything out and got the truck almost perfect, my only complaint is the time to break down the polishes (particuarly Hyper). It took me around 1.5 times longer to go around the truck with that combo than it would have with Menzerna, but on the other side, it would have taken two passes with Menzerna (IP than PO85RD). Given the exact condition of the truck it was an excellent time saver, but on a slightly more or less marred finish, it would probably be a time waster.

FK1 Pink, BTW, is my new favorite LSP after this truck. I found it a real bear to remove if applied via hand, but after application by Cyclo, it removed (by hand) even easier than Souveran applied via hand.
