Awesome work Sean!!

I'll be trying out Zaino for the first time on Monday with two details per customer's request. I'm very interested given all the attention Zaino products get.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Scott: The Meguiar's rubber hair brush helped a bit.

Bioman: Sarcasm?

Corey: It's a pretty trick little dressing. A little goes a long way and I'm getting more than a week durability on it for tires/trim without browning.

Pat: Thanks!

blk: Who knew?!

tumbler: I prefer Z5 on dark colors as I find its a bit deeper looking. The Z8 was just for touch-ups, but I did do the whole vehicle before taking pictures.

I tried Optimum with no luck . Like I said, BMW paint is finicky.

Picus:

"Hi Sean,

You’re welcome. You did an amazing job. My sister and parents were amazed at the transformation. The Autopia pictures/forum are really neat.

Thanks again for everything.
"

AJ: Please keep us posted.

Hey nice detail as usual...! I always look forward to your posts.

How do u use the steam cleaner in the interior? I have one but never learned how to use it properly (usually use it in the interior of the house to sanitize the washroom, etc.

Thanks.

99ITR: I have an attachment thats shaped like a triangle. You secure an MF towel in there and just go over the surface. The steam shoots through the MF and the towel holds the dirt in.

gmblack: I like Z5 better on all darks just because it looks a bit deeper. If you prefer more gloss, Z2 Pro is your product.

Thanks.

A great job as always Sean! A very nice transformation was made on this truck. I can only imagine how long it takes to do something like that on such a large vehicle. Couple of quick questions . . .

1. Did you polish the roof too? I'm always curious when people detail an SUV if they did the roof.

2. I noticed you are using almost every Zaino product now and like others I noticed your t-shirt. Do you have some sort of association with them now? I know Anthony does a lot of testing for Optimum. So, I'm just curious.

Again, great job as always. I love to see your write ups.

Mike: Being that this vehicle hit the autmatic wash predominantly, it was lucky enough to only have very minor marring up there. I believe the racks guarded the heavy chamois material from hitting all of the paint. I usually give customers two choices after I wash and clay a roof with racks:

1) Polish by hand to remove light swirling, then seal
2) Remove racks, compound, polish, then seal

Obviously the latter incurs an extra charge. Most give the same response:

"Nobody's going to see it and as long as it's protected, I'm happy".

I have no association with Zaino other than being a happy customer. I like their products, but still keep a boat load of others on tap and use reguarly. When I did this detail, I had just receieved my huge order and was feeling over zealous. I apologize for any mixups .

Thank you!
