More swirls, AMG Benz

Here is an S55 AMG Benz that came in loaded with swirls, I mean all over the car. Owner said before he bought it his brother in law detailed it, not sure what he used but it was a mess. Problem with this car was I had to keep moving it in and out of the shop so I could see it in natural light as I was working. Started with the cyclo yellow pads and SSR2.5, did a good job of somewhat evening it out, followed with SSR1 and poorboys polish to get the mirror finish. Owner didn't think it was the same car, now he is bringing me the rest of his cars, (hopefully they won't be this bad)

Great work Gary!

It keeps the great detailers in business, but does sloppy work like that still make you crazy?

Beautiful car!! My buddy has the same one, only in silver--with 20" Asanti wheels of course.

Do you have any issues with the 2.5/yellow pad combo dulling the paint at all?

Nice job! Now it looks like a benz should look like.

As for AMG, I don't quite think its an amg. Maybe an s500 with an amg package, but even then its missing characteristics known in all amg vehicles.

edit: This is an s55 amg. Notice the missing features.

Headlamps and Mirrors? I assume the black one had aftermarket wheels and debadged the quarter panels?

great job man. im usually a BIG fan of black wheels but i think spokes would look a little better. Also those look on the smaller side, 18's maybe??? that thing would looked slammed with black 19's or 20's spokes with a chrome lip great job on the rest

The S55 that you have there is after the facelift in 2003. This is a pre-facelift car (98-02). I can't tell for sure without seeing the engine or even back of the car. But judging by the body kit it looks like a S55.

BTW, very nice job on the S.

Those are aftermarket wheels.... But the S55's before 2003 didn't have side badging. Unless it was a S600 which had "V12" on the sides.
