Black limo piece of crap i detailed *pics* 56k go build a house

ok, so i detailed this black lincoln 29 foot limo today. The hood and trunk and some sides were just painted and the shop didnt do a good job buffing it out. As far as the interior, there arnt many pics...pretty clean; however the doors....somebody busted something all over it....i don't know what. http://autopia.org/forum/misc.php?do...g=0&forumid=3#
nixweiss

Ok as far as process goes. Once you see the paint, you'll see the serious swirls i had to battle. Pretty much prevalent through out the entire car. Sides were just a little better but still bad. I'm just going to focus on hood and trunk the most and a bit of the interior.

As far as the pics go, most of them are good, but i was taking them whenever i had the chance because there were so many stratus clouds; basically whenever the sun peeeked out i stopped what i was doing and took pics. OK enough, on to pics. (all the white specs on the paint is not splatter...they were just raised dots on the paint...felt like metal..or something..i couldnt clay them off or anything)

Doors...as mentioned before, seems as if something was busted all over this by somebody..i dont know what..
Process:
Mr clean Eraser (sprayed with woolite water mix)
Mf to wipe off
Dressed with 303 aerospace prot.

Front door before:

Front door after:

Side Door before:

condom must have exploded. JK

Side door after:

Ok, on to the trunk..just look for yourself

Process:
1) megs 84 Compound Power cleaner
Used with a edge 200o yellow foam pad
On a dw847. speed 1750rpm
2) Followed by edge 2000 yellow med cut pad and Opt polish
came out pretty good. 90percent perfect...but limo owner only paid me XXX for exterior...couldnt do anymore for that price. LOL. Get what you pay for i guess

All after pics are showed with no LSP. I used s100 btw

trunk befores:

Very nice job.

One word of advice which I'm sure you'll find out soon enough, if you want to show off details you've done post them in the 'Click and Brag' section. I'm sure this will be moved there.

But, a very nice detail!

I'm sure the white dots are paint chips. I'm somewhat fascinated by the hammered finish look that paint has. It's like it's giant orange peel. Any shots of the whole limo finished? Nice work on the swirls.

yea, i thought the white dots was splatter at first from the paint shop, but it wouldnt clay off. I Then picked at it and realized it was metal..but the thing is, they were raised above the paint..i dont know.

Huge improvement!

I'm sure glad the two limos I very occasionally clean are nowhere near as bad as that one.
